What is included in the cost of my registration?  
There are different registration types, and each will be fully explained on our registration page.

Does my registration give me access to the Expo?
Yes, all Conference registrations give you full access to the Expo during show hours.

What is the dress code?
Attire is business casual (slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses, comfortable shoes). It is recommended to dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary. 
  
How can I register a group of 20 or more employees and receive a discount? 
Group registration consists of 20 or more member registrations, submitted at the same time and paid for by one payment.  Group registrations must be submitted by August 2 to receive a 10% discount.  The discount does not apply to Academia, Non-Members, Life Members, Presenters, Membership Dues, or registrations that have been confirmed and paid. Contact meetings@arema.org for assistance.

What if I registered but did not receive a confirmation?
Some attendees may be on a network with security software that does not allow the confirmation email into the regular inbox.  Please check your spam/junk folder and if the confirmation is not found, email meetings@arema.org.
 
Will the Technical Session be available On Demand? 
All technical sessions will be made available for full conference attendees to view On Demand after the conference concludes.  On Demand access is included in the registration fee.
 
How many Professional Development Hours will I receive and how to I obtain a PDH or PIE Certificate?
By attending the AREMA Annual Conference you may earn up to 12+ Professional Development Hours (PDH).  PDH are available through AREMA’s relationship with the New York Professional Engineers (PIE) Program. Individuals needing PDH for other states may self-declare by obtaining a PDH Certificate from their AREMA Education account. Please note that your individual state board has the final authority on approving all Professional Development Hours for activities attended. Your PDH certificate(s) and instructions on how to obtain them will be made available after the conference. 

What if I cannot attend the Conference in person? 
If you are unable to attend the event, it will be available for On Demand purchase in late October.
 
What are the Health & Safety Guidelines?  
The health and safety of AREMA event attendees is our top priority. If you feel sick, please do not attend.
 
If I register for the Conference as a participant, what do I agree to so I may attend?  
You agree to the Code of Conduct at AREMA Events Policy.
 
What is the AREMA Cancellation/Transfer Policy?  
Cancellations must be received in writing to meetings@arema.org on or before August 9, 2024 to obtain a refund. A 20% processing fee will be charged for all cancellations regardless of the reason. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after August 9.

Transfers may be made by contacting meetings@arema.org on or before September 6, 2024. Transfers from member to non-member registration will result in additional fees.  After September 6, transfer requests must be handled onsite at the Registration Desk. 

By registering, you have agreed to adhere to the AREMA Event Policies.
 
What is the refund policy if I have already paid for an event that has been cancelled?  
AREMA will refund your registration fee back to the original form of payment within 2-3 weeks of the cancellation notice.     
 
Who do I contact regarding my hotel room?  
All housing questions will be answered on our Housing & Travel page.

I received an email regarding Hotel Rooms and Rates for the AREMA Conference with really good deals, is this how I should book my hotel room for the conference? 
No, the official AREMA housing provider will never contact you directly by email to book your hotel. You should only use the link found on our housing page.

Will AREMA provide a list of attendees for the Conference?  
Yes, an Attendee-to-Attendee List (Name, Company, Title) will be made available to those who choose to be included. 

I received an email with an offer to buy the official AREMA Conference Attendee List. Does AREMA sell the conference attendee list? 
No, AREMA will never sell an attendee or member list.
